Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMaC) is coming to Asia!

Introduction
Established in 2006 by Princeton University Mathematics Club, PUMaC marks its 20th anniversary in 2025. This prestigious high school competition offers a global platform for showcasing mathematical excellence.Covering diverse mathematical fields, PUMaC emphasizes collaborative problem-solving and logical reasoning. It is widely regarded as a premier mathematics competition where awards represent exceptional achievement. Many participants continue to top universities worldwide, demonstrating PUMaC's role in identifying outstanding talent.
In its 20th year, ASEEDER partners with PUMaC for its Asian debut, providing regional students international exposure and strengthening their STEM development.

Princeton University Mathematics Competition 5 Rounds

Individual Round
A/B divisions. Choose 3 of 4 subjects (Algebra, Combinatorics, Geometry, Number Theory). 8 questions/subject, 60 minutes each. Variable points weighted annually. Top 5 scores per subject count toward team total.2
Individual Final
Individual Round top 10 per division per subject qualify.3 increasingly difficult proofs (7 points each, 90 minutes). Tie-breakers are determined by proof completeness at the organizers’ discretion.

Team Round
15 fill-in-blank questions (5 points each). 30-min team round (duration may vary). Teams collaborate on traditional problems and a "game" segment with bonus points (format updated yearly).4
Power Round
Proof-Based Mathematics. Partial problems released 1 week early; teams submit online before competing on-site in additional proofs. Combined scoring. External resources prohibited. Theorems may be cited.

A night of exciting mathematical mini-challenges! Conquer stations with wit or patience, collect stamps for raffle entries, and win mystery gifts!Schedule
