Introduction

The International Logic Olympiad is the leading logic competition hosted annually in partnership with Stanford University to promote and
internationalize logic education. Offering high school students worldwide a chance to showcase excellence in logic and problem-solving,
the ILO attracts students from over 92 countries and regions annually.

——Abstracted from the official site of the ILO

Embracing the philosophy that “Logic is Everywhere,” the ILO’s systematic training is dedicated to:

  • Enhancing Admissions Competitiveness:Logic is the cornerstone of major disciplines such as Math, Computer Science, Law, and
Economics. ILO training prepares students for university entrance assessments (e.g., STEP, MAT, TSA) and standardized tests (e.g., SAT).
  • Constructing a Deep Thinking Framework:We guide students to move beyond fragmented thought processes, cultivating habits of
    structured and profound critical thinking.
  • Empowering Learning & Innovation: By utilizing logic as a high-efficiency “cognitive tool,” the program accelerates the mastery of
complex knowledge and ignites innovative capabilities through deep understanding.

In 2026, the ILO will be introduced to China for the first time through ASEEDER. Professor Michael Genesereth, a Professor of Computer
Science at Stanford University, serves as the Global Academic Director. During the Final Round, he will personally mentor participants from
around the world, deeply cultivating their potential in logic, critical thinking, and mathematics.

Suarez is a (slowly) recovering liar.
He lies on six days of the week, but on the seventh day he always tells the truth.
One week, he made the following statements on three successive days:
Day 1: “I lie on Mondays and Tuesdays.”
Day 2: “Today, it’s Thursday. Saturday, or Sunday.”
